Art Club

Tuesday 3:30pm to 4:30pm For school years 1 to 3 at Saltaire Primary School.

Around 25-30 regularly attend this club in the local Primary School. The latest theme has been God's creation. Clay and paint have been used in making the banners which now hang over the balcony in the main school hall.

Parents and Toddlers

Wednesday 9:30am and 1:30pm in the Church Lounge.This is a thriving long existing group. The favourite activities are the messy ones i.e. painting, glueing, playdough and anything else that the leaders think up.

An enjoyable part of the sessions is the singing time. Over the years there has been an increase in the number of child minders attending with their children.

See & Know

Friday 10am for Pre-school children and their parents/carers in the Church Halls See and Know attracts about 20 children and their parents or carers each Friday morning. The aim is to teach babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers basic Christian Truths. Using simple nursery rhyme style songs with visual aids and fun activities. See & Know introduces children to the Christian Faith in a way they can understand and enjoy.

Rock Solid

Rock Solid" is a church youth group which meets on a Friday evening, at St. Peter's Church:

7.15 - 8.45 for those in school years 7-9; and

8.45 - 10.15 for those in school years 10 and above.

In order to ensure an enjoyable and safe environment, which conforms to the latest child protection guidelines, we operate a membership registration scheme. Anyone wishing to attend the club must bring with them a completed Membership/parental consent form.

There is a weekly entrance fee of 50p for attending the club, which is used towards the cost of buying equipment and maintaining the halls. There is also a tuck shop from which sweets and drinks can be purchased.

We are also looking for additional helpers to provide extra supervision for the club. Over the years a number of parents/guardians have assisted in this way, either fortnightly or once a month. If you are able to help in this way, will you please indicate that on the form and we will contact you to discuss what is involved.
