St. Peter's Church is on the north side of Shipley about a mile from the town centre.
We try to be a welcoming and friendly Christian community.
We believe each of us is important to God and we try to show this in our worship and activities.
We welcome new faces, and hope that you will quickly feel part of us and able to join in at your own pace with any of the activities on Sundays and during the week.
If you are just asking questions, a new Christian or have been a Christian for some time the services and activities can help you to make Jesus Christ relevant today.
We are glad that you are interested in St. Peter's and look forward to getting to know you better.
If you are new to St. Peter's
Going to a new place can be very intimidating. We have attempted to answer some of your questions. Please know we will make every effort to make sure your first experience is worry free.
We look forward to meeting with you and becoming friends.
The 9:30 service is a more traditional service with a choir.
The 11:15 service is a contemporary service with a more relaxed service style and presentation. Music is led by a worship group. This is the service at which provision is made for the children.
The 6:30pm service is also contemporary with singing led by a worship group.

Newcomers and visitors do not have to introduce themselves during the service. However, if you wish you will have a chance to meet other worshipers and the leadership after the services.

We have a friendly and casual atmosphere, but dress the way you feel most comfortable, from jeans to business casual to suit and tie.
But don't worry about what you are wearing. We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear.
