People & Voices

I was overwhelmed by the vast number of people at my sister Moina’s funeral on 23 February at St Peters, and felt I had to write a short note for the newsletter as a small gesture of my appreciation.

I really had no idea how many people she touched, helped, tutored, supported and ministered, but that soon became obvious when I saw how many were in church to pay their final respects, Clearly I knew that she had travelled greatly but I did not realise just how many true friends she had.

I particularly appreciate the tributes paid by John Rainer, Youth With A Mission, The Courts Chaplaincy Service and Tong & Holmewood Parish, not to mention the efforts made by so many to put on refreshments after the service.

It only leaves me to express my sincere gratitude to all her friends not only at St Peters, but around the world whose support at this time will be treasured for ever

Marcus Bernard
