The ability to cast vision, motivate and direct people to collectively accomplish God's purposes; the ability to make things happen.

I am often looked to for a lead

In a group, I am often elected chairperson or leader

When leading something, I put a lot of preparation into it

I am good at delegating work to others within a team

External to church…..you may have a leadership or managerial role at work. Many charities and voluntary organisations need people with leadership abilities.

Within church…..there are many different ways in which people can display a leadership gifting….making things happen; preaching and teaching; exercising pastoral care ("keeping watch") over those they lead; setting an example or being a role model.

"To prepare God's people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith…and become mature" (Ephesians 4:12-13)
