The gift of Evangelism

The ability to effectively communicate the gospel.

I am often used to bring others to Christ

God has given me a love for others through which I can share Christ

I find life is full of opportunities to speak about Jesus

I love to talk to others about Jesus

"God sets the lonely in families." [Psalm 68:6]

External to church…..evangelists need to be out in the world building relationships and living out the gospel…using words if necessary!

"Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations" [ Matthew 28:19]

Within church…..there are many opportunities to use your gifting and contribute to the life of St. Peter's. There are roles that require a regular commitment; most church groups need some level of administrative support and there are often opportunities to help administer short-term projects.

Volunteer on Reception

Help in the Church Office

Work on the Welcome Desk rota on Sundays

Become a member of the PCC

Offer to join the Wardens' team

Support the administration of Youth and Children's work

Assist the team who look after the church's finances

Join the team who organise the annual Church Weekend Away

Help with Alpha courses

Organise fund-raising activities

Assist the Mission Support Group

Distribute Bible notes

Get involved with producing St Peter's News

Offer to take minutes at meetings
